Subcision for Acne Scars (with MD)

A physician-performed procedure for depressed acne scars that are tethered down by scar tissue. After numbing, a needle is guided under each scar to release the fibrous bands pulling the skin down, allowing it to lift. Bruising may last 1–2 weeks, and subcision is often combined with lasers or microneedling for best results.
